Everyone has his or her own opinion about where and what is occuring in the market for home selling and home buying. First thing, unless you are a licensed, knowledgable realtor, do yourself a favor and find some one who is...that is the best way to get the best deal in the long run...the old cliche "you get what you pay for" applies to Real Estate as well as any type of financial investment.

Ask your Realtor for recommendations for Lenders, Inspectors, Attorneys,
etc. My practice is to offer 2 to 3 names of professionals who have satisfied clients whom I have represented. I have found that the most successful people rely on the judgement of those professionals who have experience and knowledge in their specific fields. This is true in Real Estate as well as other businesses.
